Rocky Mountain Hell Week I
August 20??This tour is our dream come true! If you want cool mornings, warm afternoons, breathtaking scenery, and tough climbs, then Rocky Mountain Hell Week is for you!
This is a fully-supported tour. All you have to do is ride your bike and buy your evening meal. We take care of everything else. With a start/finish in Denver, you'll have easy access to/from the event.
We're deviating a little from our norm on this tour by reducing the mileage to only 600-700 total miles. Of course, that doesn't mean it's going to be any easier, because the long mountain grades are challenging. And riding at over 10,000 feet will definitely send your pulse skyward.
Cyclists are very common in Colorado. It is a lifestyle, one that beckons many other cyclo-tourists to come check it out. It seems like every other Colorado car has some sort of roof rack on it, attesting to their outdoor mindset of the locals. Our plan is to suck up as much thin air as we possibly can, take lots of pictures, and soak up that culture. You'll want to be a part of this magical experience.
What's the Cost?
Fees will be announced when the tour is ready for deployment. What Do I Get For the Money?
You will get 8 nights lodging, breakfast, lunch, road snacks, sag support, commemorative Rocky Mountain Hell Week wearables, and a great time touring Colorado!
The complete itinerary with motel info and phone numbers will be sent in July to all registered riders. This tour will roll with 8 or more riders.
