Weather: Bring a good supply of sunscreen, or plan on buying it in Fredericksburg. The March sun is very intense in Texas, and riders routinely get savage tans (and sometimes burns). Normal highs and lows for the period are low- to mid-70s by day, and mid-40s by night. Sunrise is at about 7:00 a.m., while sunset is at about 7:00 p.m. Some variability in the weather is normal; we may have some cool days, while we almost always have at least one day at or above 90-degrees. Come prepared for anything.
